Barossa Village opens 21-bed extension at Nuriootpa aged care home

1 min read

SA-based Not For Profit aged care and retirement provider Barossa Village has officially opened an extension to its The Residency home in Nuriootpa.

The $6 million project, of which $3 million was funded through Commonwealth Government grants, increases The Residency’s capacity to 121 beds and adds specialised facilities for dementia care, respite care, and rehabilitation.

At the time it was announced in September 2020, CEO Ben Hall (pictured left, with Barossa Village Chair Helen O’Brien and Tony Pasin, Federal MP for Barker) – then General Manager Service Delivery – said the extension was an important project that would boost capacity by 20%.
