inTechnology partners with Electrotek for AN-ACC care minute reporting

1 min read

Value-added distributor inTechnology has partnered with nurse call provider Electrotek to provide an AN-ACC compliant Automated Care Minute Reporting System.

The partnership will give Electrotek access to inTechnology’s full Quuppa and NESA solutions, enabling it to roll the systems out to existing aged care clients and partners, said Mark Winter (pictured), Chief Executive Officer at inTechnology Distribution.

“Like most nurse call providers, Electrotek already provides Real Time Location System (RTLS) technology; however, with the sub-meter accuracy required for gathering care minute reporting data, Electrotek needed to find a better solution.

“This is where our Quuppa and NESA technology comes into play,” he said.

According to Theo Kuppens, Managing Director at Electrotek, other solutions lacked the level of accuracy required for AN-ACC reporting.

“We needed to find a solution that automatically captures every interaction between a caregiver, registered nurses and resident with detailed real-time reporting and alerts to ensure each resident receives the right amount of care minutes based on their case-mix classification.

“No other RTLS solution could offer our clients the accurate reporting that is required by the Department of Health and Aged Care under the AN-ACC reporting model,” he said.
