Mercer pioneers employee benefit programs to guide people to retirement living and aged care

1 min read

Mercer, one of the world’s largest consulting and professional services firms, and a significant provider of back office services to superannuation funds and large employers, has developed a world first education and concierge service to retirement living and aged care.

Titled Care & Living with Mercer (CaLM), they launched last week with over 50,000 people having access to CaLM, and targeting 1 million people within 12 months.

CaLM was launched by David Bryant, Mercer’s President, Pacific Region and CEO, Australia, Georgina Lee, Product & Operations Leader, CaLM, and Will Burkitt, Leader of Retirement Innovation and CaLM (pictured).

Their strategy is to streamline and take the pain out of supporting Mum and Dad in their search for the right services and accommodation, benefiting the employee and the employer.

CaLM has a full education and retirement village (plus aged care) directory, plus educational information, contracted from us at The DCM Group. It utilises our agedcare101.com.au and villages.com.au content and platforms.

In addition, Mercer has trained concierge staff available in their call centres to provide one-on-one guidance.

With over one million time-poor people online, CaLM is positioned as a new channel to market for village operators.
