Mounties Group extends its push into home care

Mounties Group is expanding its care offering with the purchase of NSW-based Carers & Companions.

The club group, which owns a five-star retirement village at Harbord Diggers on Sydney's Northern Beaches, has expanded its Mounties Care home care service with the addition of Carers & Companions as of 25 February, at a time where more residents are seeking home care services to stay in their villages longer.

Carers & Companions provides a range of home care support options including daily and 24-hour care, live-in care, post-hospital support and respite care. According to Mounties Group CEO Dale Hunt (pictured), the acquisition will bolster the group’s “unrivalled” presence in the health care sector.

“The service will join already established Group ventures including Specialised Medical Services, Invitation to Health, our state-of-the-art fitness centres as well as health and wellbeing services across our nine clubs.

“Our ethos of improving the lives of our members is something we carry through in everything we do. When we first launched Mounties Care, the goal was to provide members with access to quality home care services, and Carers & Companions will expand our ability to reach all those in the communities in which we operate,” he said.

Mounties Group last year won the NSW Clubs & Community Award for Mounties Care.
