In early February, Jewish Not For Profit Montefiore announced it will close its Maroubra Shores aged care home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
We understand the home needed refurbishment and still had shared bathrooms but was unable to gain council approval for improvements or redevelopment.
Maroubra Shores has been closed to admissions since the announcement.
In 2020, Montefiore completed M by Montefiore in Randwick, which is near Maroubra in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
