Western Australia Police have closed their investigation after finding no evidence of criminality following allegations of abuse and the deaths of two residents at Regis’ Nedlands aged care home.

Police were investigating claims of physical assault at the Perth home after university students interning at the home reported five alleged incidents of abuse before a further 17 were reported.

The allegations are still being investigated by the listed aged care provider and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) who imposed sanctions on the facility last week.
