The Not For Profit has officially opened its newly refurbished Coffs Harbour Masonic Village on the NSW North Coast.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution has been operating the aged care facility, which is home to 61 residents, since 2002.

Planix Projects oversaw the significant upgrade work, which included:

  • New entry and front of house
  • New social amenities and living and dining areas
  • Upgrade of building services
  • New residential unit and refurbishment of existing unites
  • Fire compliance upgrade

RFBI currently has a Care at Home team, two retirement villages and three residential care villages based in the area and CEO Frank Price says the organisation will continue to invest in the local community.

“RFBI is proud to be part of the Coffs Harbour community and the $4 million we have invested in our Village here reflects our commitment to ensure that our residents continue to love where they live and are able to access high quality aged care and services,” he said.
