Anglicare CEO, Grant Millard, turned the first sod on construction last week.
As we reported here last year, the development is an expansion of the not-for-profit provider’s existing 87-unit village in Oran Park in south-west Sydney (60km from the CBD) – adding 67 new retirement living units and an 80-bed aged care facility.
Mr Millard says dementia care will be “an important aspect” of the new facility.
