The expansion will see 67 new retirement living units and an 80-bed aged care facility built at the existing 87-unit village in Oran Park in south-west Sydney, 60km from the CBD.
It’s another win for the Not For Profit’s first village project which was initially expected to struggle to sell with two other villages located close by.
As we covered here, its first stage of 11 units sold out on day one under then-head of its care operations Rob Evers. Mr Evers later took up the position of CEO of Wesley Mission Victoria before moving into home care disruption, launching his peer-to-peer Care Support Network last July.
