Burnie Brae Centre – a Not-For-Profit community organisation offering government-funded recreational, home care and allied health services for older people in the Brisbane area – has lodged a building application with the Brisbane City Council to develop 38 units across five residential lots on the city’s north side.
The two multi-level buildings will contain 33 two-bedroom units and five three-bedroom units – as well as 50 car parks.
The project will be Burnie Brae’s first retirement village. The community centre first opened in 1984.
