RetireAustralia has received development approval to add a new 42-unit apartment building to its popular Tarragal Glen Retirement Village in Erina on the NSW Central Coast.
The one- and two-bedroom independent living units will be built over three levels, bringing the total number of dwellings at Tarragal Glen to almost 500.
“The apartments have been architecturally designed with over-70s in mind, and will be located adjacent to Tarragal Manor’s serviced apartments and dining facilities to appeal to older Australians who may already have some care needs, or who are planning ahead for their future,” the operator said.
“When the project is complete, the retirement village will have 479 homes offering a range of seniors living options including independent living villas and apartments, serviced apartments and RetireAustralia home care services.”
RetireAustralia had 93% occupancy across its portfolio as of September last year, with its NZ-based owners calling off a mooted sale of the business in December.
