The Spanish-born Miguel Maestre, the chef, restaurateur, television presenter and cookbook author, has showcased his skills at the launch of Stockland Halcyon Rise’s $10 million land lease clubhouse The Homestead.
The Homestead includes a recreation club with dancefloor, bar with fireplace and lounge, gold-class style cinema, games room and entertaining terrace. The features also include a heated mineral salt pool with in-pool lounges, hair salon and treatment rooms, gym and a yoga lawn.
Miguel is a Stockland ambassador and cooked paella as homeowners listened to live music and christened the dance floor at the launch.
Stockland Halcyon Rise, a gated over 50s community, is in Logan Reserve, 33km from Brisbane’s CBD. Its first residents moved in April last year. On completion, Stockland Halcyon Rise will have around 300 homes and will have 8ha of private open space.
