Paul Turner appointed CEO of Navorina Nursing Home in Deniliquin, NSW

1 min read

Navorina Nursing Home, a standalone facility in the regional NSW town of Deniliquin, 725km west of Sydney, has appointed aged care and childcare executive Paul Turner as its new CEO.

Paul has worked in aged care for more than a decade, in roles including overseeing all aged care homes and retirement villages for two Not For Profit providers.

In childcare, Paul was responsible for overseeing multiple centres and out-of-school care programs.

Paul comes from Newcastle, where his wife and three children live on a small farm.

"In my role at Navorina, I will be supporting the team of staff; we are all one team working towards the same goal to ensure our residents have the best person-centred quality care," he told Deniliquin Pastoral Times.

From 1 December 2023, higher regulatory burdens for aged care executives came into effect. Prior to the introduction of the changes, The SOURCE reported on the difficulties of finding suitably qualified and experienced aged care executives, particularly in rural and remote areas.
