VIC: State buys land at cut price for aged care

The Victorian Government has secured the former St Vincent's Boys Home in South Melbourne at a discounted price, rumoured to be less than half the land's current commercial value. The land has been earmarked for a new aged care facility. The site is expected to be developed into a combination of ILU's and low and high care beds.
