A rare positive planning story. After being knocked back in 2010 by Wollongong Council, Warrigal Care has had its plan for two six storey buildings housing 70 ILUs, supported by both the Council and NSW Planning. This is on top of approval a month ago for a 120 bed care facility on the same site. Located adjacent to a golf course and open beach, all ILUs have ocean views.
Australian Senate votes for two separate inquiries into aged care reform
The Senate has voted to establish two new Senate inquiries into the Government’s historic aged care reforms, rollout out on the weekend after years of preparation, amid concerns they will not deliver for older Australians.
