150 join the DCM Institute Village Managers professional development 12 month course

We are excited to announce that our 150th village manager has joined our DCM Institute Village Management Professional Development Program.

This has been achieved in just over three months, a recognition of the enthusiasm by village managers and head office staff to expand their soft and hard professional skills.

46 operators are represented across the country.

Our second round of Professional Development days commenced last week in Brisbane and Sydney, with Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide occurring over the next 10 days.

‘Legislation’ is the major topic for July. Here in Sydney our speakers included:

The objective of the DCM Professional Development Program is to support village management deliver better resident outcomes and better business outcomes for operators, while building a career path for the participants.

New members can join at any time for the 12-month rolling program of learning, which includes three Professional Development Days in each state.

The Retirement Living Council/LASA Code of Conduct, Accreditation and regulatory requirements will be delivered.

Professional Development points will contribute to the recognised LASA leadership diploma.

The single registration for 12 months is $1850, with significant discounts for multiple registrations.
