The private provider has the green light to develop a two-storey, 92-bed aged care home at Lakelands in Mandurah, on the southwest coast of Western Australia.
Infinite Care’s proposal received support from the City of Mandurah Council in June and from the Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) last month, according to PerthNow.
The company’s managing director Chris Stride said with 11 existing facilities interstate, this would be Infinite Care’s first in Western Australia.
“Infinite Care is a new generation of residential aged care provider and their offering sets new standards, where the residential experience is individualised to meet each resident’s personal care needs and lifestyle choices,” Mr Stride said.
Each room will feature designer inspired furnishings and ensuite bathrooms. There will also be a dedicated wing for those requiring memory support, as well as an onsite cafe, hair and beauty salon and theatre.
Construction is expected to start early next year and is expected to be complete by early 2022.
As we previously reported here, listed funds manager and investment bank Moelis bought the majority share in Infinite Care for $45.4 million in September 2017, while founders Chris Stride and Tony Partridge kept their 30% stake and continued to head the business.
