ACIITC looking for participants in technology Roundtables

1 min read

The Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council (ACIITC) is seeking expressions of interest for its National Roundtables on industry technology and innovation.

The Roundtables – established by the ACIITC in 2021 – aim to engage sectors of the industry and promote the uptake of technology in aged care. According to ACIITC Chair Dr George Margelis, they will take an evidence-based approach, working with experienced professionals.

“The National Roundtables serve to engage in various international and national research, to promote best practice, along with digitally-enhanced service delivery.

“As Chair of ACIITC, I encourage you to submit your Expression of Interest to be part of the National Roundtables and have your chance to contribute to the debate and discuss important reform issues for the aged and community care sector,” he said.

The three Roundtables will cover:

  • Technology Specific Considerations, chaired by Maria Paz and Daniel Pettman;
  • Service Model and Workforce Reform, chaired by Sue Cooke; and
  • Financial Considerations, including Return on Investment (ROI) and Research and Development (R&D), chaired by Jennene Buckley.

Expressions of Interest can be submitted online.
