ACSA: Aged Care Approvals Round delay unacceptable

Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) has called on the Minister for Mental Health and Ageing to urgently announce the 2010 allocation of aged care bed licences and community care packages which was due to be announced at the end of October. “It’s now almost the end of November and elderly Australians and organisations providing care and services are still waiting,” CEO, Greg Mundy said. “Aged care providers are increasingly angry at the delays in new places being announced”.
