The redevelopment will see 126 aged care rooms including 18 dementia-specific rooms constructed at the site in Booragul, 21km from Newcastle, which was the Not For Profit’s first when it was founded 60 years ago.
Headed up by Project Managers APP and Hunter construction organisation Core Property Group, the project is expected to be completed by April 2020.
Established by the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Anglican Care has eight retirement villages and 12 aged care homes with 1,200 residents and 800 staff.
