Arcadia Group sells almost 50% of Stage Three of its La Dimora retirement village

The Perth-based retirement village operator’s investment in Hidden Valley, which was once the secluded country estate of entrepreneur Robert Holmes à Court, 51km north of Melbourne’s CBD, is delivering great dividends.

The first stage of 25 villas is fully occupied and the second stage of 21 villas has sold and is awaiting settlement of final residents (pictured). With the third stage being built, almost 50% of the 23 villas have been sold off the plan.

A further 50 units are planned for stages four and five.

The most sought-after villa on the estate to date is the Livorno, a 216sqm home with two bedrooms, sunroom leading to a private courtyard, ensuite and separate bathroom, and a 2.5 car garage.

The residents’ clubhouse Villa Valdera features an outdoor swimming pool; indoor and outdoor living areas; a pool table; and views of Hidden Valley.

Resort membership, an additional monthly cost ($100.33 per couple, $50.70 a single person) to the maintenance fee per month, is mandatory for all residents and provides five-day access to the Craig Parry-designed championship golf course Hidden Valley Golf and Country Club, as well as use of the indoor heated pool, gymnasium, pickle ball and tennis courts and bowling green.
