The Not For Profit, established by social impact investor For Purpose Investment Partners (FPIP), has commenced recruitment for its latest home.
The new 180-bed aged care home at 11 Hayward Street, South Bunbury, 175km south of Perth, will be the operator’s third site in Western Australia.

South Bunbury Community Aged Care will include landscaped courtyards, a café, cinema, hair salon, dementia support wing, cutting edge technology, and full-home WiFi.
“We are excited to bring this new service to the region and provide local families with greater choice when it comes to aged care,” said Martin Jones, Executive General Manager Client Services at For Purpose Aged Care (FPAC).

Ambitious growth
FPAC has emerged as one of Australia's fastest-growing aged care operators since launching in 2023, with a target of 5,000 beds by 2027.
In 2023, the operator began its expansion with the acquisition of Luson Aged Care’s three aged care homes and two developments.
FPAC followed that up in 2024 with the purchase of Signature Care’s eight homes and six developments.

In February 2026, FPAC secured a $235 million social loan from Bank Australia, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and National Australia Bank. The same banks had backed the Signature Care acquisition.
FPAC also acquired an 89-bed turnkey aged care home in Wallan, 50km from Melbourne’s CBD, in May this year.
Today, FPAC operates around 2,150 residential aged care beds, and has more than 500 in development (including South Bunbury).
FPIP was established in 2018 with the backing of $900 million from alternative asset manager M.H. Carnegie & Co to invest in projects that deliver positive social outcomes while providing investors with a financial return over the longer term.
