Roshana Care Group expands national footprint

Consolidation across the aged care sector shows no signs of slowing.
Perth-based aged care operator Roshana Care Group has acquired ISOMER Aged Care, the Melbourne aged care home of the Islamic Society of Melbourne Eastern Regions.
The 50-bed aged care home, renamed Roshana Lysterfield Aged Care, is located in Lysterfield, 32km south east of the Melbourne CBD.
The acquisition takes Roshana Care Group to 22 homes across WA (6), NSW (11), VIC (4), and SA (1).

The private operator has been pursuing growth through the acquisition of single or small clusters of aged care homes over the last 12 to 18 months.
Earlier this month, Roshana Care Group acquired Bolton Clarke’s Bolton Point aged care home and retirement village in NSW’s Hunter Valley, with 89 aged care beds and 54 retirement living units.
At the same time, the operator is diversifying its income stream with a vertical model of care, operating aged care, healthcare, retirement living, and community care investments.
