Consumer advocacy residents of Balnarring on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula have said they will fight the bid to construct the 75-bed aged care facility in their street when it first goes before the Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal in March.
As we reported here, privately owned Arcare – with 37 big and modern facilities – provided locals with its plans for the home at an information session in November 2018. However, the group is protesting about noise levels and street access in the area.
Last week, they parked their cars to show the potential traffic congestion.
VicRoads says the authority generally supported the development.
