Arcare opens new aged care home on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula – highest RAD just under $1M

The first residents have moved into Arcare’s newly-opened aged care home in Balnarring, 72km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD, its 23rd home in Victoria.

Arcare Balnarring features 75 one-bedroom suites across one-storey and contains two communities named after the local area’s history and culture: Tulum and Noir.

The community also houses a café, wellbeing centre with hair salon, movie theatre, worship room, library, intimate dining and lounge rooms, private dining room, and underground parking for visitors.

Arcare provides a relationship-first approach with each resident assigned a support team that works with them consistently.

 “Our Dedicated Assignment model was first rolled out across Arcare’s residences throughout 2014 and 2015 and was awarded a 2015 Better Practice Award by the Federal Government,” said Arcare CEO Colin Singh (pictured centre).

There are four types of suites at Arcare Balnarring: Grande (26sqm), Deluxe (21sqm to 29sqm), Premiere (25.8sqm to 32.6sqm) and Premiere + with the RAD ((Refundable Accommodation Deposit) ranging from $650,000 up to $995,000.
