This year’s Aged Care Employee Day (ACED 2020) has the theme “Thanks for caring”, acknowledging the efforts of over 360,000 aged care staff with videos, stories and photographs.
A Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) initiative, ACED 2020 will also recognise the winners of LASA’s Excellence in Age Services Awards in each State and Territory.
“On this day we celebrate the pinnacle of caring that we see each and every day,” said LASA CEO Sean Rooney.
“We salute them because they all play vital roles – from nurses, personal care workers and allied health professionals, to chefs, cleaners, gardeners, managers and volunteers.”
