The strong sales come ahead of the first residents moving into the 19-storey development in Brisbane’s Gasworks precinct and the release of its aged care living options next month.

The project features 144 apartments priced from $449,000 with eight penthouses priced from $1,799,000 to $2,199,000 which are close to sold out.

Residents will also have access to community areas including a rooftop lounge, private dining room and landscaped terraces totaling 3,681sqms, plus a tech bar with a ‘tech angel’ on hand to help with everything from setting up Google Home to configuring smart TVs and personal devices – showing why interest is coming from as far away as Canberra and Melbourne.

Aveo CEO Geoff Grady says Newstead is the retirement village of the future.
