The Not For Profit will offer the service at its new 103-bed aged care home in Heidelberg, 13km north east of the CBD, when it opens in late 2018.
After turning the sod on the site, CEO Sandra Hills said the new development was part of Benetas’ commitment to building a home that puts residents’ experiences at the forefront.
“We know, through extensive research, that the best care for older people is built around a ‘normal’ living environment, and that’s why our Heidelberg home will have fewer residents sharing smaller, more private areas,” she said.
