Big week for Ingenia - unit value jumps 13% plus new construction starts

Units in Simon Owen’s listed retirement accommodation vehicle Ingenia jumped 13% this week, taking overall unit value growth for the past 12 months to 114%. It has gone from 18 cents to 38.5 cents. Also this week Ingenia commenced building 17 new homes in its recently acquired Gillieston Heights retirement village near Cessnock (NSW), now branded Settlers Ridge Estate, plus it commenced construction in Gladstone (QLD) of a three-storey/53 apartment tower titled The Rise. It is an extension of the existing Settlers Gladstone village.
