BUPA Bellarine wins hat-trick in Better Practice in Aged Care Awards

Better Practice Awards can only be applied for at three year intervals. BUPA Bellarine has won at least one award in each of 2003, 2005 and 2008. This year they have won 3 awards for:
• The Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP), which greatly improved Palliative Care to the dying resident and support to their families
• The Walk Around Australia program, which encourages and promotes walking as an exercising activity
• The Personal Best program, where all employees have the opportunity to make Personal Best Commitments to improve resident care in some way
