BUPA: NSW nurses 2.6% pay offer rejected by staff on union recommendation

Published on

Nurses and other staff working at Bupa Care Services, the UK owned aged care operator, 21 NSW aged care facilities have rejected a 2.6% annual pay rise, over four years, with nearly 85% of staff voting no. The Nurse’s Union claimed the offer would see nurses working for Bupa, earn less than aged care nurses at most for profit and not for profit facilities.
