Catholic Healthcare withdraws proposal for $30 million aged care facility

1 min read

The not-for-profit provider has retracted its development application for a facility in Kincumber on the NSW Central Coast (1.5 hours north of Sydney CBD) after it faced dozens of objections – mostly due to traffic congestion and safety.

The facility would have contained single, three- and four-storey sections featuring two “secure households” for residents with dementia.

The land is zoned for low density residential developments and used to be part of Lendlease’s Brentwood Retirement village precinct (pictured), before it was subdivided to create the new lots.

Catholic Healthcare has a growing mutual engagement with Lendlease.
