A third building with 35 apartments will open at Aura retirement village in Findon, a western suburb of Adelaide, next month with a fourth and final building due to open early next year with a similar number of residences to make a total of 131 one, two and three-bedroom apartments across four towers.
The first stage of Aura comprised two four-storey buildings with apartments and amenities including a library, cinema, community garden, 24-hour concierge, gym, pool, fine-dining restaurant, GP and allied health services.
“We really took inspiration from a lot of the resort-style retirement facilities that you see up in Queensland with very beautiful open, low maintenance and great facilities,” Aura village manager Georgia Jurkovic told The Australian Business Network.
“In the South Australian market there’s a lot of broadacre-style retirement. But this particular model, this higher-end luxury, we are finding that more and more people are leaning towards that.”
