NSW Land and Environment Court approves amended seniors housing plan in north Sydney

An amended 16-unit senior housing development rejected by the Northern Beaches Council in Sydney’s north has been approved by the NSW Land and Environment Court.

The proposal by architect MHN Design Union is to develop the senior housing project on two blocks in Ralston Avenue, Belrose, 19km northeast of Sydney’s CBD.

The application was lodged with the Council on 12 March 2020 and refused on 15 December 2021. MHN Design Union appeal and amended plans were approved by Sarah Bish, Commissioner of the NSW Land and Environment Court on Friday.
