Led by founder and CEO Dr Rosh Jalagge, the private Perth-based operator is a rarity in residential aged care. It is profitable, it wants to grow, but it faces an issue that still grips the sector tightly.

Its founder and CEO, Sri Lankan-born entrepreneur Dr Rosh Jalagge, who is also the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Western Australia, is trying to satisfy the unmet demand for residential aged care but admits there is a “wicked problem” – workforce shortages.

Breaking news: Government delays new Aged Care Act

Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler and Minister for Aged Care and Seniors Sam Rae announced this morning that commencement of the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025 will be delayed four months until 1 November 2025.
