Australian aged care software provider CompliSpace has sold to UK-based Ideagen, with CEO David Griffiths (pictured) to remain in an executive position.

CompliSpace provides software for governance, risk, compliance and policy management to aged care facilities, as well as education and financial services firms. Around 135 aged care homes currently subscribe to its service.

Its sale to Ideagen, which is listed in the UK, means global expansion for CompliSpace. CEO David Griffiths, who will become a Regional Senior Vice President following the deal, says CompliSpace software will now be used around the world.

“Joining Ideagen ensures that CompliSpace can fulfil our vision and purpose beyond Australia, and support schools and aged care facilities to better service their customers across Asia, North America, the UK and Europe.

“We look forward to bringing Ideagen’s world-class risk and compliance software services to Australia, while taking our software, expertise and skills to the world,” he said.

The company sold for around $110 million.
