1 min read

David Maher will depart the Not For Profit in late May 2021 after 10 years as Managing Director and more than 20 years with the organisation.

Under his leadership, Catholic Healthcare more than doubled its size to $350 million revenue and $1.3 billion in assets.

Its home care business has doubled to 1,600 packages; retirement living increased 170% to 460 units; and residential aged care increased 50% to 3,000 beds.

David also helped to lead the unique alliance with Lendlease to create integrated residential campuses and provide home care into Lendlease villages.

“It has been a great privilege for me to lead such a dedicated group of staff to fulfil our Mission of promoting life to the full to an ever-growing number of clients across the decade,” he said.

“The new Managing Director will have a great base to work with in writing the next chapter of Catholic Healthcare’s story in the exciting world of aged care possibilities post the Royal Commission.”

Catholic Healthcare’s Board has now begun a recruitment process for a replacement.
