DCM Solar reports it is two months ahead of schedule in finishing the installation of the 7,000 ILUs with solar systems before the Governments 7 July deadline. Despite cyclones and flooding across two states, DCM is completing up to 500 homes each week. DCM Solar successfully lobbied the Federal Government to accept village residents as notional owners to win grants under the Solar Homes & Communities Plan. The value of the solar assets DCM is bringing to the sector at no cost to operators or residents is $60 million.
