Evaran launches to unify aged care systems

  • One platform: Evaran combines three core aged care systems into one
  • Backed to scale: Accel-KKR supports a footprint of 1,100+ providers globally
  • Fixing fragmentation: Connects clinical, ops and governance tools in one place
  • AI insights: Shifts providers from reactive reporting to proactive decisions

Evaran has launched today, bringing together Health Metrics, MOA Benchmarking and CareLineLive under a single platform aimed at simplifying how providers run their operations.

Backed by US private equity firm Accel-KKR, the new platform is designed to connect clinical, operational and governance systems as providers adjust to increased regulatory and reporting requirements under the new Aged Care Act.

Evaran already supports more than 1,100 providers and 170,000 care recipients across 2,100 locations globally.

CEO Tyron Ball said the platform is being driven by what providers are now being asked to deliver.

“As expectations increase, the ability to connect information and apply AI across care, operations and governance becomes critical,” he said.

Fragmented systems under pressure

The platform brings together systems providers are already using – clinical care through eCase, compliance and governance via MOA Benchmarking, and workforce and scheduling through CareLineLive.

The aim is to connect those layers, rather than run them in parallel – addressing the persistent sector issue where providers often operate multiple systems that don’t speak to each other.

In an interview with The Weekly SOURCE, Tyron said it’s not uncommon to see providers running more than seven separate platforms – creating duplication, extra admin and risk around data accuracy.

“By bringing together the systems providers rely on into a unified platform, we’re helping reduce complexity so teams can spend less time managing systems and more time delivering care, coordinating services and running day-to-day operations,” he said.

Platform play backed by capital

By connecting systems, the new platform can also support AI-driven insights.

“Evaran can bring AI-powered capabilities to customers such as highlighting patterns to show emerging risks,” Lahn Straney, Founder of MOA Benchmarking, said. “So providers move from backward-looking reports to proactive, preventive decision-making in day to day operations.”

“In home care, everything depends on coordination and visibility,” added Josh Hough, Founder of CareLineLive.

“Bringing these capabilities together creates a clearer picture across the organisation.”

The launch reinforces Accel-KKR’s strategy to build a broader aged care technology ecosystem, following its acquisitions of Health Metrics, MOA and CareLineLive over the past 12 months.
