Greengate partners with another Brisbane Catholic church for 10-storey village

1 min read

The Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Auchenflower, 2.5km west of the CBD, will be the site for St Faber’s Green, which will feature 92 retirement apartments and aged care suites. The existing church will be retained and three new buildings between three and 10 storeys will be built.

Greengate has partnered with various arms of the Catholic Church to build two villages in Sydney – St Brigid’s Green in Maroubra and St Patrick’s Green in Kogarah – and another in Brisbane, St Luke’s Green in Woolloongabba.

They are also applying to build a $77 million aged care facility and retirement village in Penrith, west of Sydney, in partnership with the Penrith City Council. As we reported here, the site will be the operator’s first independent project.
