Group Homes Australia opens latest home on Sydney’s Upper North Shore

1 min read

The innovative aged and dementia care model has opened its doors at Wahroonga, 17km northwest of the Sydney CBD.

The private operator – founded by Tamar Krebs – began in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs before expanding to the North Shore and last year, the Sutherland Shire.

Under its small house model, small groups of six to ten residents live together in suburban homes and can choose their own daily routines and hobbies with a 1:3 staff ratio.

They now have 12 locations across Sydney.
