Health Metrics, a cloud-native solution provider with almost 200 clients across residential care, retirement villages, home care, disability care and primary healthcare in Australia and NZ, has appointed Mike Giuffrida (pictured above) to succeed Steven Strange as CEO.

Mr Strange co-founded Health Metrics with Lisa Papettas in 2008. The Weekly Source reported in April that Australian diversified alternative asset management firm Tanarra Capital had acquired a majority stake in Health Metrics.

“Steven will remain actively involved in the business as Chief Innovation Officer.  Whilst product innovation will be Steven’s core charter, he will remain closely involved and working with clients to maximise their use of the eCase Platform as regulations evolve,” Health Metrics said in a statement.

Mr Giuffrida co-founded HR Management software provider Acendre in 1997. Over 20 years Acendre grew in Australia and the United States, establishing a leadership position within the US Government sector.

“This is a big step in the right direction for Health Metrics. I’m delighted to have Mike on board. He’ll be an outstanding CEO. This strategic move will take the Health Metrics team to the next level of consumer-driven technology for Health & Social Care,” said Mr Strange (pictured at the LEADERS SUMMIT in 2021).
