John Leo, James Robinson and Adam Somerville may have created a new sales record.
The Weekly SOURCE reported in May that the village in the town of Berry, 143km south of Sydney’s CBD, had been given approval by Shoalhaven Council to build a further 10 homes in its northeastern corner to finish the development that welcomed its first residents in 2008.
At a Westpac ‘Leading Conversations at The Wharf’ lunch last Friday, John said there were over 70 people on the waiting list and around 20 to 30 people whom when contacted said they wanted one of the final 10 homes in The Arbour at Berry.
“So, we told them the price – an average of $1.4 million – and decided the fairest thing to do was a ballot,” John said.
“They all sold in ninety seconds.”
The SOURCE: Surely a sales record and indicative if you build the right product, the demand is there.
