Infinite Care expands in Victoria ahead of Anglicare takeover

  • Expansion move: Infinite Care acquires Autumn Aged Care’s Victorian homes
  • Growth surge: Network expands to 23 homes and 2,500+ beds
  • Victoria push: Four new Victorian homes operating or opening by mid-2026
  • Next phase: Anglicare Sydney takeover expected in June

The residential aged care provider has expanded its Victorian footprint just weeks before it is set to be acquired by Anglicare Sydney.

Infinite Care has acquired family-owned Autumn Aged Care, effective Wednesday 6 May 2026.

Anglicare Sydney's acquisition of Infinite Care is expected to take effect in June 2026 (subject to approvals). Infinite Care will operate as a subsidiary of Anglicare Sydney and continue under its existing brand for the foreseeable future.

Four homes by mid-2026

Autumn Aged Care was founded in 2001 by Ross Ferris. Today it has three aged care homes in Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula. A brand new 205-bed aged care home in Hampton Park, 36km southeast of Melbourne's CBD, is nearing commissioning.

Infinite marked its expansion into Victoria in January 2026 with the opening of the 177-bed, $70 million Knoxfield facility, 27km east of the Melbourne CBD. A 60-bed aged care home in Prahran, 5km southeast of the Melbourne CBD, is expected to open in July 2026.

Infinite Care reaches 2,500 beds

Infinite Care’s Founders and Joint Managing Directors, Tony Partridge and Chris Stride, said, "The acquisition represents a significant milestone in Infinite Care’s continued growth.

"The addition of Autumn Aged Care’s Victorian homes expands Infinite Care’s national footprint to 23 homes with over 2,500 beds."

The addition will take Anglicare Sydney to 5,300 beds when the Infinite Care acquisition takes effect in June.

Autumn Aged Care will continue to operate under its existing trading name and staff will remain in place.
