Ingenia tops real estate investment trust survey for third year

Diversify senior living operator and developer Ingenia has topped the BDO A-REIT Survey for the third year with a return 55.8% over 12 months for investors (calculated on the increase in their security price plus dividends paid).
The survey focused on top 200 real estate investment trusts on the Australian Stock Exchange.
At the same time Ingenia announced it had completed the sale of its New Zealand student portfolio and the $15 million raised will be reinvested in their primary focus growth business, manufacture home estates.
In two years they have built a portfolio of 19 MHEs. CEO Simon Owen tells us they have seven people working on acquisitions; they have 80 properties under assessment with 12 to 15 under conditional offer or exclusivity..
The attraction is immediate cash. Flow He says “every fortnight we will collect rent from approximately 3000 seniors, the majority of her receive a full or partial Commonwealth pension and Commonwealth rent assistance”.
To fund acquisitions requires capital. Ingenia has made over 200 wholesale investor presentations in the past 12 months.
