Japara invests $1M in Noosa refurbishment

1 min read

Japara’s Noosa aged care home is undergoing a million-dollar refurbishment.

The 180-bed home is receiving an interior facelift, including renovating private rooms and adding new paint and new carpet; the outdoor recreation spaces are also being made more usable.

Senior Development Manager James Wheelock says the renovations – set to complete in late November or early December – will create a brighter and more modern feel.

“Japara is excited to be delivering another upgrade to our existing Noosa home for our current and future residents. Japara is committed to the region, and takes pride in launching the refurbished rooms, ensuites, common areas and outdoor recreation spaces in late 2021,” he said.

An open day is planned for next year after being delayed due to COVID-19 and the proposed acquisition by Calvary.
