LASA’s online Safety & Quality Management system secures 150 subscribers in its first three months

The Safety & Quality Management System is a new online tool designed to support residential and home care providers to navigate the regulatory changes brought on by the new Aged Care Quality Standards (effective as of yesterday) – and any future changes that may arise as a result of the Royal Commission.

The system is a “long-term solution” keeping providers updated on relevant policies and procedures in the face of legislative changes or adjustments to the new Standards, to ensure they can maintain compliance.

“We’ve built-in features that will take their operations to another level, such as dual language capability and compatibility with other business systems, such as care management, finance and storage, so they have a one-stop-shop solution”, said LASA CEO, Sean Rooney.

 “It’s really about giving providers the confidence to take control of their business and be in a strong position to drive the cultural change embedded in the new Standards.”
