The Queensland Not For Profit aged care provider has announced a new CEO after Justin Lorenz resigned in March.
Experienced aged care executive Leonie Fowke will take on the role from 6 July 2026.

Leonie has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across the aged care, community and health sectors.
Most recently, she served as CEO of Not For Profit home care and NDIS provider All About Living.
Leonie is a Member of the peak body for aged care providers, Ageing Australia's Queensland State Member Council.
In a statement, Mercy Community said: “Leonie’s experience, values and leadership” will “guide the organisation into its next chapter.”
Leonie said she was enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead and building on our strong foundation.
Mercy Community operates five aged care homes across Brisbane (one aged care home), Rockhampton (three), and Townsville (one), and three retirement villages, plus about 700 home care clients.

In July last year, the faith-based operator opened the $41 million 90-bed Mercy Haven aged care facility in Rockhampton, 600km north of Brisbane. The project was built with the assistance of a $17.8 million Aged Care Capital Assistance Program grant.
