Mounties Group expands its home care service nationally
Mounties Care expands affordable home care nationally
- National rollout: Mounties Care expands beyond NSW into QLD, VIC and ACT
- Lower pricing: Home care offered at $79/hour versus ~$100 industry rates
- Support at Home play: Expansion comes amid sector fee increases
- Community backing: Continued funding support for CareFlight and Little Wings
Mounties Care, in partnership with Vitalis, was launched by Mounties Group CEO Dale Hunt in 2020.
The provider expanded in 2022 with the acquisition of NSW-based Carers & Companions and last year announced it had expanded into Victoria.
Now Mounties Group has announced Mounties Care’s expansion from New South Wales to broader Australia, providing subsidised home care support to residents in Queensland, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, and soon Western Australia.
Mounties Care says it provides its home care services at a subsidised fixed cost of $79 per hour (versus the industry standard $100 within the Government’s Support at Home program).
“At a time when many other providers are increasing their fees following the changes with the Support at Home Program and the general cost of living is also increasing, Mounties Care is proud to expand our footprint and reach more Australians looking to maintain independence and access more affordable healthcare services,” said Rachelle Bernia, GM of Health at Mounties Care.
“This announcement builds upon the incredible work we do at Mounties Care to support our community directly and also through partnerships with established Not For Profit organisations in the health and wellbeing space who service our communities.”

The announcement was made this morning at Bankstown Airport, where aeromedical Not For Profits CareFlight and Little Wings came together in support of the broader reach of Mounties Care.
CareFlight emergency services has received $18.7 million in committed funding for New South Wales support from Mounties Care which has been a partner for the past 15 years, while Little Wings has received more than $345,000 since 2024.
“Our partnership with Mounties Care is transforming what’s possible for families in their hardest moments, providing not only vital flights and ground transport, but also reassurance, dignity, and connection to care,” said Clare Pearson, CEO of Little Wings.
“The support from Mounties Care has a direct and meaningful impact on the children and families we serve and enables us to bring healthcare directly to towns that need it most and ensure families receive timely care closer to home.”
