NARI develops mental health tips for aged care workers and managers

Carers and their managers have been on the frontline of the COVID pandemic this year with stress and anxiety levels at a high – but the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) has developed tips and strategies designed to help.

NARI has tips to help managers recognise when you, or the people you supervise, might need additional help including some evidence-informed strategies for mental wellbeing.

There are also tips for aged care workers – including nurses, personal care attendants, kitchen staff, laundry staff, maintenance and administration staff – on what to do if they feel stressed or anxious during COVID-19, and how to look after their mental health.
